The two-day event unites cannabis industry professionals from diverse walks, encouraging provocative discussions surrounding the latest trends, research, technology and innovation in cannabis testing and regulations. This year’s Expo featured conversations led by 20 cannabis industry professionals, including Keynote panelists Sarah Chase, Sheri Orlowitz, and Reggie Gaudino, PhD of the Council for Federal Cannabis Regulation, as well as Nandu Sarma, PhD of US Pharmacopeia, and Lee Rhoades of The Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority.
Our very own David Vaillencourt closed the conference with a discussion about how the 1,000+ volunteer members at ASTM International’s Committee D37 on Cannabis are actively developing standards that will harmonize the global cannabis industry. David Vaillencourt is a respected standardization and regulatory expert, certain to leave attendees hopeful regarding his and others’ dedication to the future of medical cannabis.
